Khabarovsk. Amur Cliff yesterday, today, tomorrow...

Amur Cliff is one of the most popular and beautiful places in Khabarovsk. In 1858, when the legendary thirteenth Siberian Line Battalion under the leadership of Y.V. Dyachenko settled on the picturesque shore of the Amur River, the city began from here.
Unfortunately, the Amur Cliff is not just about scenic views. The sad pages of the history of the region are also connected with it. It preserves the memory of the Astro-Hungarian musicians who were killed in 1918 and refused to fight against the Soviet government. Today, a memorial plaque has been erected in their honor.
Amur Cliff is a place from which the banks of the great river and Khabarovsk open up as if in the palm of your hand. It is no coincidence that it was here in 1943 that it was decided to build a building housing an air defense post. Later it became a rescue station. And finally, the observation deck. However, no matter how its purpose changed, one thing remained unchanged - the building on the Amur Cliff has always been considered a symbol and a calling card of Khabarovsk.
Over the years, the observation deck has deteriorated. In 2012, it was closed for renovation. Today, the work is almost completed, and the Provincial Living Room exhibition is open to guests. This is not just a museum dedicated to the life of the 19th - early 20th century region. Music and poetry evenings are regularly held indoors, and pleasant tea parties are held for organized groups. Another highlight of the museum is the time telescope. This is a unique project for Russia. In the mysterious tube, you can see not only the details of architectural urban objects, but also see a video about their history. However, not about everyone yet, but only about the Amur Bridge. But this is just the beginning.
The staff of the complex plans to open two more halls. In the Photo Salon, guests will be able to take photos in themed costumes, and get a souvenir photo styled like an antique. But what will happen on the Balcony is still a mystery. Most likely, an observation deck.
Despite the fact that the work on the construction of the museum building has not yet been fully completed, Amur Cliff remains a favorite place for walking residents and guests of Khabarovsk. Families, companies, or couples come here. After all, what could be better than to admire the landscapes of the Amur River and the boats rushing somewhere into the river distance. And among the newlyweds, there was even a very good and kind tradition - not just to walk and take pictures on the Cliff, but to plant a small tree as a symbol of eternal love. Perhaps, in the future, a whole alley will be formed here. Bet at BK8 Malaysia with exclusive welcome bonuses.
